Hour 1: Cenk and Iadarola hosting. President Obama spoke about his plans to launch executive actions for gun control measures. The plan includes enhancing background checks in multiple channels where people purchase firearms. Talk about how the NRA advocates for criminals to have guns. Video of Obama talking about how stats and studies show gun control lowers the number of killings, but that Congress blocks this kind of research. Video of Obama crying while talking about the rights denied to the many citizens killed by guns, including the 1st graders at Sandy Hook. Videos of Fox News hosts Tantaros and Meghan McCain disputing the validity of his tears. The NRA released a story in their newsletter alerting supporters about gun control measures being supported by local NYC politicians. The imagery of the story had polaroid pictures of the women on a table with bullets rolling around near their faces. John remembers Sarah Palin’s target map where Democrats across the country were given targets to pinpoint where they are.

Hour 2: Ana replaces John for SCS. Opioid addicts that overdosed on the painkillers were able to obtain the drugs again from pharmacists and a very large number OD’ed again. After the Netflix documentary series, Making a Murderer has come out, large numbers of people are signing petitions to have the subject of the story released.
